The Parks weather tolerance

The park is sheltered from both the north and south-west winds. the function area is under cover and the paintball/lasertag is protected by a heavy tree canopy.

as a general rule the park is not affected by light to medium rain, extreme heat or strong cold winds.

Activities such as paintball run rain hail or shine and are not canceled or badly affected until the weather gets to the point where roads start getting closed. The paintball at AE Fun Park is better protected from the elements than any other paintball in northland and likewise can operate in much harsher conditions without affecting the players enjoyment.
Lasertag uses electronic equipment and can operate in anything up to light to medium rain but must stop in heavy rain. other weather conditions dont affect it.

The park has also been built over a extensive drainage network so lawns and grounds stay firm for almost all of the year so when the local park my be closed and other paintball venues up to their eyeballs in mud we still operate like normal.
It is advisable to bring a change of cloths in winter though as we cant help surface mud if it happens to be raining.
