EQUIPMENT
WE HAVE WHANGAREI's NO. 1 and BEST PAINTBALL HIRE GEAR
We have now banned the dreaded co2
From now on when you play paintball at AE Fun Park or at any of the AE fields you will no longer be given a marker (gun) fitted with a crusty old dog of a co2 tank. Your gun will be HPA powered and this is not just some unsafe, uncertified, "illegal in NZ" HPA tank like advertised by our compeditors, but a brand new, state of the art, NZ legal NZHPA tank.
These tanks and the fields that are running them are bringing some bright new standards to the previously cow-boy run, standard less, lo-performance game of hire paintball
It is also the development of the NZHPA tank that has allowed us to bring you the 300 guarantee, guaranteeing you that you will not get injured from paintballs being fired at excessive speeds by velocity spiking
We import our own equipment and turn it over regularly to keep it in top condition. Only cylinders that are NZ legal and tested up-to-date are used . We also do not claim to have the guns running at top speed, they are adjusted back to prevent harm to other players, but this does not affect their range, aim or effectiveness.
Our Hardware
Weapons of War (gun)
Icon X running Hpa
This is our standard rental marker
double finger trigger, 12 balls per second, 2.5kg incl bottle, Hpa powered, Tournament style
these are such a player friendly type of marker some fields use them only as a upgrade and will charge you for the use of them.
Srt electronic running Hpa
These are our upgrade markers.
electronic double finger trigger.18 balls per second, 2.7kg incl bottle, Hpa powered, tournament style
these are along the same lines as the guns used in tournaments and well out of reach of most hire fields
We are going to be upgrade these soon for proto markers. these are regarded to be one of the best production markers out there.
Platinum Series Custom 98 Tippman (the stags gun)
single finger trigger, 7 balls per second, 3.6 kg incl bottle, co2 powered converted to Hpa, rental style
We call this gun the stag gun as it is the perfect punishment for the stag. we equired this gun from a field that went broke. it has a noticeably slower firring rate than the other markers, is heaver, uncomfortable to use and inaccurate. but man if you get hit by this sucker you will be wanting to stay out of that stags way.
(We also give this to people who pickup paintballs and put them in the guns, so leave them on the ground unless you want to be the easy target )
Goggles
Vents or proto, anti-fog and thermal masks. Not just sprayed with some stuff, but machine washed and dryed in Whangarei's only machine mask washer and then anti-fog coated ready for use again. We try to avoid using your standard v-force rental masks, as these masks just dont seem to cut it in the Northland climate. We would rather go to the cost and effort of importing a more suitable mask.
Overalls
Not just off the shelf blue overalls but locally made AE Fun Park olive green overalls, to help blend into the bush. Washed and dried after every use. $3 charge. Numbers are limited, so please advise upon booking if you require them.
Paintballs
We stock large volumes of some of the best quality paintballs in NZ.
Because of the NZHPA system we run on, we can use light grades of paintball more suited for public use than anything co2 powered fields can use. this reduces pain and bruising as well as greatly increases accuracy
WARNING
Recent studies have showen the tippmann and bt4 markers should not be run on standard co2 when used for public hire. This is also outlined in some of the factory instruction books. If you are to use these markers on co2 it needs to be made known to all people on the playing field about the 1 in 6 risk of getting hit by a "hot shot" and the pain and scaring this causes.
tank safety warning:DOL is on the lookout for anyone using metal paintball air tanks over 7cm in diameter or marked 45cu, 47cu or 48cu, if you are offered any of these tanks to use it is your obligation to ring the DOL and inform them so they can be checked. In some of the factories efforts to make these tanks cheaper they have skimped on the metal in the neck of the bottle, this causes internal cracking and rupture.( this warning does not include the NZHPA tanks as they are made to a much higher standard)
Have you ever heard the sayings " I've been doing it this way for the last xx years and there has never been a problem""Trust me i know what i am doing "" We are the safest in....""Nah i don't need that, thats just someone making up stories""We have never had a accident here"?. Well this is the remains of a non NZ legal, US made bottle. Lucky there was a wall between this guy and the bottle when it went BANG!.... start running
Don't take the risk, its NZ legal air or nothing
